What is EBSCO?

EBSCO is a major provider of research databases, ebooks, and magazine subscriptions.

HVCC subscribes to many databases through EBSCO. EBSCO is not the database.

The database of retrieval used in MLA citations will be the name of the database (for example, Academic Search Complete, Humanities Source or Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection). See the Database Finder for full list of databases. The generated MLA citation in EBSCO databases includes EBSCOhost as the database of retrieval, this is an error that should be corrected for proper MLA citation.
