How should I start a research assignment?
One way to get started is to meet with a librarian, we can lead you to the best sources that will help you complete your research assignment. Here are a few tips to help you along the way:
- Start early. Give yourself plenty of time to find and review sources, and time to ask for help.
- Test your potential research topic in the library's OneSearch.
- Identify keywords and appropriate research databases to search.
- Email, print, or save sources you find.
- Cite as you write!
